Boats can Float

Today I've been doing an experiment with a boat. This is a video that I made to show you how I did it. I made lots of videos. It was hard and exhausting but it was worth it. This was my best video yet, this video will show you how to move a boat. Enjoy!!!

Please check out my other activities!!!

  1. Kia ora Willietony,

Wow! Great job completing the NanoGirl challenge this week. Did you enjoy being an inventor?

Your boat could hold many little people! I think i counted 7? And the use of the hairdryer to move it was very innovative!

I am impressed at how you communicated throughout the video without ever speaking. You used your hands to show what was happening rather than words, that's very cool!

    Keep up the excellent work.

    Ngā mihi,
    Lauren

It's lovely to see you commenting on my post again. I actually enjoyed being an inventor because I get to learn something. Also the total of the little people was seven but it was actually suppose to be eight, I skip one in the end but it was fine. I actually don't like talking during the recording so I rather show my hands than just talk. Anyway stay safe and God Bless.

  2. Kia ora Willetony, Mr Ferguson from Manaiakalani here. Wow, what an awesome video of your NanoGirl SLJ activity! I am really impressed with the transitions that you have used, along with the range of camera angles. These have all contributed to a really cool video! I think it's really clever that you've thought to use a plastic container to float your figurines in. Question for you - do you have any other types of materials around the house that you could try using with too? This could be a cool way to take your experiment to the next level!

Well done, again on completing this task. I hope that you and your family have a safe holiday and I look forward to further posts from you over the next few weeks!

That was a really impressive way to present your NanoGirl SLJ activity. Creating a video with no noise other than your props was very creative and I would think it wasn't easy with others in the house. I really liked the transitions you used.
Glad that you are enjoying the activities.

It's lovely to see you again. I don't like to make a sound in the videos so yeah. Yeah it took me ten or eleven if you count this video. Anyway stay safe and Many blessings to your whanau.
