Today I've done another activity about poetry slam. So i started off by making a copy of a slide deck then start. On the next slide it will show you a picture of me surrounded by ideas of mine for what I'm going to do during this summer. On my last slide it shows my favorite words, well actually I do not have a favorite word I just chose random ones. It was quite a difficult challenge but that didn't stop me. I really enjoy doing this task because it's fun going on other peoples blogs and I got to learn of what's an adjective and an adverb.
Kia ora Willietony,
ReplyDeleteIt’s Charlotte here, a blog commenter for Manaiakalani. Ka Pai on completing the Poetry Slam, Kick Start activity!
I noticed that a lot of your favourite things to do in summer were activities to do with your family and friends, that is very special! I also enjoy spending lots of time with my friends and family, we go to the beach together heaps during summer! What is your favourite activity to do with your family?
I think that poetry slam is awesome! If you wanted to try and challenge yourself a little more and earn some extra points for the Summer Learning Journey, you could try and give the ‘Poetry Slam, Step it up’ activity a go!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Chris, I’m one of the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey Blog Commenters. It’s nice to meet you!
Tēnā koe for detailing the steps you took while completing this activity. Good on you for continuing, even though it was a difficult challenge! Your summer sounds lovely, where do you and your mum road trip to?
An interesting thing about one of your favourite words, “Glen Innes” is actually a proper noun, because it’s the name of a place, and names don’t have synonyms- although they might have abbreviations (shortened versions) such as “GI”! A synonym for “suburb” might be “neighbourhood.” These are some nice words you’ve chosen, though! I especially like slowly and steadily, ka pai!
Have you had a chance to try todays Geometree activity? Would love to see how you get on with that!
Ngā mihi,
