Drawing a Geometree

Today there was a new task. I've watched the video of how to do/make it, to me I thought it was easy but it wasn't because I had to draw a tree with triangles it was quite complicated, it took me two hours to do this. Once I was finished I took a photo of my work to show that I have done it. It was actually fun doing this activity I enjoyed it.
When I look at my work it looks like a person's head!!!
Go ahead and take a look.

I really tried my best.

Great to see more work from you during this Summer Learning Journey!

Tēnā koe for explaining the steps you talk in completing the Geometree task! So glad you enjoyed it, even though it was more difficult than you thought it would be. You’re right, it does look a little like a head, but it looks even more like a beautiful tree becoming the brown, orange, and yellow colours of Autumn! Pai mahi!

Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future!

    Ngā mihi,
    Chris

  3. Kia ora Willietony, I think that using pen and paper for this activity is a lot more challenging than creating on your chromebook. No copy and paste. Well done persevering and completing the task.

  4. Kia ora Willietony,
I am a facilitator delivering The Manaiakalani Programme here in Tairāwhiti.

I really liked the way you explained how you made your Geometree. Good on you for sticking to the task and completing it.

The colours go well together and look bright and summery.

Did you learn anything new about triangles?
